Beautiful guest house just outside Umberleigh in North Devon, in the heart of the Taw Valley. Our guest house is situated atop a hill with panoramic views of the surrounding scenery and historic Tarka Trail. Fully self-contained building, patio and parking area. Fully fitted kitchen and living room, with a separate bedroom and en-suite bathroom. Underfloor heating coupled with a log burning fireplace for chilly days. Only a short drive to some stunning beaches and marvelous countryside.

This is a well equipped and comfortable double room on the ground floor. Lovely antique oak furniture. Decorated in Laura Ashley style. The shower and w.c. Are separate. These rooms are ideal for guests who find stairs challenging. Given prior notice another room can be made available on the ground floor to dine.

Relax and unwind surrounded by beautiful, unspoilt wildflower meadows. Wake up refreshed in a quirky, stone built converted dairy, ready for a day soaking up stunning countryside views while enjoying the pool and hot tub. Or head out to wander the local farmers markets. At night, cook on an open fire and be blown away by the stars in some of the darkest skies in England. Self check-in available and we always look forward to hosting great people.
