In Cuba we say, "Love starts in the kitchen." My family and I will open the doors of our kitchen to share with you our typical food and traditional Cuban culinary recipes. While we taste a mojito, we will teach you how to cook the most emblematic dishes of Cuban cuisine, in addition to the genuine recipes passed down by our grandmothers. It will be a fun cooking class and through our kitchen, you'll get closer to Cuban history and enjoy authentic food in an intimate and family atmosphere—different from any restaurants in the city.

Although we now have a B&B in the center of the city, we are a family from the countryside of Cuba, with a rich culinary culture transmitted from our grandmothers—and we want to share this experience. My aunts are all expert cooks, and I have a degree in the history of Cuba. Together we nurture a great love for our cuisine and traditions.

We will welcome you to our colonial house, Villa Costa Habanera, located in the center of Vedado—one of the most emblematic neighborhoods of Havana. It's just a few meters from the Malecon Sea of Havana and we have a nice terrace overlooking the city.

One of the highlights of two weeks travelling around Cuba. A truly lovely experience. Our hosts were kind and friendly, and were totally organised and prepared for the experience. They were happy to change the time to suit us, as our plans had changed. The food was delicious, and we’re cooking it again back in London! This was just truly lovely, authentic and warm experience.
