The place is ideal for skiing in the winter. You can visit the nearby lakes in the winter. The lake in Kronenburg in Germany is close by has a very beautiful beach. The Bütgenbach lake is 7 km away while the Robertville lake is 9 km from the cottage. The towns of Malmédy and Monschau are both 20 km away.
