Built in 1860 and fully refurbished in 2021, this charming cottage is located less than 20 minutes away from the city of York and perfectly located for exploring the wider Yorkshire area. The property benefits from ample free on street parking right outside, 5 minutes from the Park & Ride and on the city centre bus route Stepping into the property you will immediately pick up on the warm and cosy vibes. From the private on street entrance you are immediately into the living area with a large Smart Tv and complimentary Netflix package for your enjoyment plus firelight which adds a cosy glow for those winter evenings indoors with a cup of something warm. Moving through into the kitchen area you will find all the amenities you'd expect to be able to enjoy your time away including a dishwasher and washing machine. To the rear of the cottage there is a delightful, decked outside area where you can sit out on the summer evenings with a drink and while away the hours. Upstairs you will find a very spacious house bathroom complete with a large double ended bath and separate walk in shower. The bedroom accommodates a comfortable king size bed, wardrobe, dressing table and Smart TV. A fold out single bed can also be made available for the occasional extra guest. Dunnington itself is a pretty village with a whole host of local amenities including a bakery, a well stocked shop, pharmacy, cafe and a great local, dog friendly pub. There are numerous beautiful local walks and also a children's play park close by. This gorgeous little cottage has everything you need for a fantastic holiday, close to the historic City of York and yet also easily accessible to the beautiful Yorkshire countryside - The best of both worlds!
