This cottage was first built around 1910 and used as a farm cottage. The locals say there were many cottages on Adams Creek over the years and floods have destroyed them, but this one survived on a gold mine on Adams Creek. If you look you can find old mining machinery on the river banks. The main home was the local post office. The cottage offers a quiet farm environment with tranquil sounding river 20 metres out the door. 100 metres to the Blythe River. Spirit of Tasmania 30 minutes away
