We cater for like-minded visitors who are interested in the mountainous northern ancient city of Chiang Mai, and the simple way of local living full of arts, crafts and culture. Location: We are located in southern outskirt of Chiangmai near Hangdong, 20 km on one straight road to the city moat, simple and easy to find. We strongly recommend our guest to come with a car or a motorbike, if he/she likes to stay out at night, for the public buses right outside our place operate during 5 a.m. - 7 p.m. only. Accommodation: We have 6 units of accommodations - converted from Northern Thailand's traditional wooden ricebarns. All rooms are furnished with comfortable queen-sized beds, air conditioning, en-suite bathrooms, hot showers and free wireless internet. Open-air dining area just outside the kitchen and into the garden, where you can socialize with others, if so wish. Breakfast is not included in the room rate, but can be requested at 150 Baht per person (approx. 4 US Dollars). Laundry service can also be requested at reasonable prices. Things to do: - Cycling in the ricefields, or up the mountains. - Elephant riding & trekking in Mae Wang - Handicraft Village at Moo Baan Tawai - Highest Mountain Peak in Thailand, Doi Inthanon - Chiang Mai Night Safari, Zoo. - Queen Sirikij Garden and elephant school. - Royal Flora Garden at Phuet Suan Lok - Learn local art and crafts from South Sa-merng mountain villagers including weaving, carving, paper making, ceramic, or Thai cooking, etc. Classes can be arranged. - Massage can be arranged at home. - Yoga class, meditation class can be requested. - Trip in town for temples and walking street can be arranged. - And many more attractions, or nice eating places, which we will be happy to tell you about Car & Bicycle Rentals: A limited number of bicycles can be borrowed for free. Car rentals (with or without driver) are available at reasonable rates. Neighborhood: Fresh local market only 400 meter away (you can bicycle there) Nearest supermarket (Big C hypermarket) only 2 km away. Many Western and Thai restaurants in the 5 km radius.
