Music walking tour of London's Soho
All groups will meet at the top of exit 3 at Tottenham Court Road tube station and go on a 2 hour walking tour of Soho. Along the way we shall visit the famous street where the Rolling stones recorded their first album and David Bowie lived in a caravan. We’ll see where the Sex Pistols squatted, not forgetting where Elton John got his first ever job as a tea boy! Moving on to the venue that Brian Epstein, manager of the Beatles, took over and put on the legendary Jimi Hendrix one fateful night in 1967! It's then onto Soho square where you will learn how Charles II had an impact on pubs and drinking alcohol ! See where Paul McCartneys business headquarters are. See where Prince played 2 secret gigs in one night and even see where a young Mozart lived. British RocknRoll began at this coffee bar which is just round the corner to arguably the most famous of London music venues. Not forgetting one of Londons famous music venues, where nearly every major artist has played! Stand in the spot where the Oasis album cover was taken before moving onto the studio where David Bowie recorded Hunky Dory. We will then finish in an beautiful old, historic English pub, which has had many famous guests over the years. Oxford’s city centre is a concentration of all you want to know. Within a relatively small area there are hundreds of years of history which we will be experiencing by walking for a couple of hours. We will tour the famous sights and learn about the culture, reasons and history behind what we see. We will hear about the famous Oxford personalities, who shaped the world and learn about their world. We will also discover more hidden places, the ones tourists (and many locals) don’t know about. I will point out the locations of world famous films and the stunning hidden architecture. This is a tour for very small groups as I want you to feel comfortable and able to ask questions. If there is any particular requirement, just ask and I will do my utter best to accommodate you. Most of the times, it would be your own private tour. We will meet outside the Randolph Hotel, on Beaumont Street, opposite the Ashmolean Museum and start our adventure from there. Other things to note My tours are suitable for families and children under 10 come for free. We will be passing many shops during our walk where you can buy drinks and snacks if needed. This tour is wheelchair and child friendly. As the group size is very small you will almost certainly enjoy a fully private tour.

After meeting at a local train station, easily accessible from the cities of Sheffield and Manchester, we’ll run through the gears etc. and ensure the bike is set up to suit you. We will ride at a leisurely pace and enjoy stops along the way to discover the hidden past of this beautiful area and take in the splendid scenery of the Park District National Park. If you like big views and want to enjoy the social as much as the ride then our Pudding and Ale vintage bike tour is for you. Starting and finishing at the ancient Peak District village of Bamford you’ll adventure north on the traffic-free Thornhill Trail, an easy going start. You’ll take in some gentle up and downs as you follow the quiet gravel road along the shores of Derwent Reservoir, where you’ll enjoy great views across the Dark Peak and Derwent Valley beyond. On your return we take in a pub stop at the welcoming Yorkshire Bridge Inn where you can enjoy either a traditional Yorkshire Pudding with gravy or a Bakewell Pudding, and a pint of the local ale. You’ll soon be refreshed for the short ride back to the station on country lanes. From here it is around a 20 minute train journey back to the bustling centre of Sheffield. Retired Royal Guard Central London Walk
I invite you to join me to see Royal palaces and other iconic royal sites, hear personal stories of my experiences with members of the Royal Family and even get to see a piece of Prince William's and Kate's wedding cake! We will start at Trafalgar Square and hear about its history and then move on to see the pomp and pageantry of the Changing of the Queen's Life Guard. We then walk along The Mall to St James' Palace and Clarence House where I will tell you tales of Princes William and Harry the night before William's wedding. Next is a short walk to Buckingham Palace where you will have more opportunities to take photos and hear stories of the Royal household. We then walk into picturesque St James' Park where there is a chance to pause (kiosk available for drinks) and look at gifts presented to me by members of the Royal family. On the way to Parliament Square I will tell you all about the Palace of Westminster (Houses of Parliament and Big Ben). The final part of the walk takes us along Whitehall, past Downing Street (home of the Prime Minister) and then to the spot where King Charles 1st was executed. We will finish back at Trafalgar Square Other things to note If on the 2pm walk we will see a shortened Guard change at 4pm. We will have an opportunity on the way for a short stop for you to buy drinks and visit a toilet.

We follow in the drunken footsteps of literary greats including Dickens, Shakespeare, Pepys & Johnson whilst pausing for a drink in at least 4 of the most historic pubs dating as far back as the 1500's. From discovering art nouveau gems to glamorous Victorian gin palaces we enjoy a variety of pub styles and breweries along the way. It's not a prescriptive tour, so you choose & pay for your drinks along the way. We're here to offer recommendations, and you can often "sip before you sup" with a few tasters on request from the bars along the way. This allows you to indulge as much or as little as you desire! Non-drinkers can soak up the history, and wine & gin-lovers are also well catered for. We usually finish up on the edge of Covent Garden perfect for theatre-land, restaurants and of course more pubs including one that claims to be the most haunted in London! Other things to note Guests are recommended to be over 18 years of age to enjoy the walk at its best. Anyone lucky enough to look under 25 years of age should bring photo ID. N.B. Speedboat through the heart of London
See many of the city's greatest sights the way they were meant to be seen - from the river, on board the Thames' biggest speedboat, fitted with suspension seating. You'll be welcomed at Tower Bridge Quay by your expert skipper and a personal tour guide for lifejackets and a safety briefing. The sound-system will be fired up with great British tunes and we'll cruise down to Tower Bridge for the best of all selfies. Then hold tight as we take you on a 10 mile high-speed blast to the O2 Arena and back to Tower. This walking tour of London unfurls the movie set locations of the world's most famous Wizard (you know who he is!) Great day out for the family. You will see over 10 movie set locations and several locations that inspired JK Rowling. We will visit actual filming locations in London!
