On the entrance floor the apartment has a double bedroom, a sunny living room (with a double sofa bed) and an equipped kitchen (electric stove, microwave, fridge, toaster, Nespresso coffee machine and the water heater).

The apartment is located in a very quiet street in Bairro Alto, in the second floor of a beautiful and characteristic building. In this area the atmosphere is light and welcoming, the ideal setting to spend a few carefree days getting to know the beautiful city of Lisbon.
This space is less than 5 minutes walking from Príncipe Real, which is one of the noble and trendy areas of the city. Small palaces, charming houses and gardens with history.
Next to Bairro Alto, between Rua da Escola Politécnica and Rua de São Bento, Príncipe Real stands out for its calm and elegance, for its cafes, kiosk, fantastic garden and its unique light.

Bairro Alto is a typical historic area in Lisbon where you can go for dinner to the best traditional restaurants in Lisbon, listen to the best fado or have fun in the most busy and relaxed night in the city. You will meet all kinds of people and get all kinds of offers. Portuguese, italian, moroccan, indian and thai restaurants are real temptations and if you look for them there is always news. With the Bica elevator right next door, two steps from the Tagus River, Chiado and Cais do Sodré, you couldn't ask for a better location. It is in the ideal place to get to know the whole city during the day, to rest a little in the late afternoon and still enjoy a delicious dinner followed by a late adventure at the trendiest bars and clubs of the portuguese capital. Night spaces in our neighborhood close until two in the morning and the night continues in Cais do Sodré or the main avenue near the river until 6/7am.
You can also go on foot to the most beautiful gardens or take the most emblematic public transports in Lisbon, such as tram 28 (which will take you on a beautiful journey to S. Jorge Castle or Campo de Ourique neighborhood) or take Glória elevator down to go shopping on Avenida da Liberdade, where the best stores with international luxury brands are located.
For Portuguese cuisine, rich and of mediterranean influences, try one of the best restaurants in Lisbon, Pap'Açorda (R.Atalaia, 57), or other simpler traditional ones, such as 1º de Maio (Rua da Atalaia 8), Tasca do Manel (Rua da Barroca 24) or Bota Alta (Travessa da Queimada 35).
If you want to lose your head when shopping, you have plenty to choose from: Agência 117 (Rua do Norte 117), Aleksandar Protihch (Rua da Rosa 114) or Fátima Lopes (Rua da Atalaia 36). For fun at night, discover Clube da Esquina (Rua da Barroca 30-32), Frágil (Rua da Atalaia 126) or Purex Club (Rua das Salgadeiras 28).
Going up to Príncipe Real, down to Bica or Chiado will be great, but Bairro Alto will always seem more your own. Your Neighborhood.
If you're passionate about antiques, go down Rua de São Bento. You will not be disappointed. There are stores with all sorts of prices.
If you are a theater lover, you don't need to leave the neighborhood. The Polytechnic Theater (Rua Escola Politécnica 56) and the Cornucopia Theater (Rua Tenente Raúl Cascais 1 A) are excellent options.

I was born in Lisbon in 74 and I used to stay in Bairro Alto in my grandparents house. For me Lisbon it is the most beautiful city in Europe. I like to run, to surf, to walk around in Lisbon finding new places and to go to the cinema.
