Islesboro is a unique place. It's best suited to visitors who enjoy a peaceful stay filled with exploring the outdoors, cooking, reading and relaxation. Sound like you?

Please note this cottage is on an ISLAND and requires the use of the Maine State Ferry Service. Please see the Maine State Ferry Service website for the current schedule and fares. The first ferry departs Islesboro at 7:30am M-Sat and 8:30am on Sundays. The last ferry departs Lincolnville at 5pm. Please plan your arrival and departures accordingly.

There are two general stores for groceries and necessities. There are a few places during the summer season to eat out (Dark Harbor Shop, Snack Shack/Food Truck, ordering Pizza at store.) We do not have any sit down table service restaurants.

The entire cottage and yard are available for your enjoyment. Please only access the beach directly in front of the cottage. The beach in front of the field and the beach to the right of the cottage belong to the neighbors.

The sheds are not accessible for guests.

Please note that the Maine State Ferry Service operates the car ferry service to and from the island and is out of our control. They may cancel trips due to inclement weather or staffing shortage with little to no notice.

We do have a health center on the island and a volunteer run ambulance service. Lifeflight, Maine's air ambulance service, can land on Islesboro in case of emergency.
