You'll be sharing the space with Teju (your host), but you'll have the entire private bedroom to yourself. Just blocks from Port Authority, it offers super easy access to multiple subway and bus lines, making it a breeze to reach via mass transit from any NYC-area airport.

The space
Teju's cozy Midtown apartment is clean, stylish, and well-equipped for tourists of any age. It boasts great natural light with lots of plants and big windows on both sides. The bed is a comfy queen size (raised a few inches off the ground for maximum storage underneath). I've got two monitors on my desk for comfortable work-from-home setups, and the TV has all major streaming platforms available. The clean bathroom comes stocked with towels, body wash, shampoo, and conditioner. The kitchen is fully equipped and ready for guest use.

Neighborhood highlights
It's a lovely neighborhood with great food options as soon as you walk to the end of the street on 8th or 9th Ave. The coffee shop across from the building, "Bird & Branch," serves some of the best unique coffee and breakfast around. The subway station is on the next block (44th & 8th Ave), with access to all routes from this station. If you're looking for bus options, Port Authority is just 4 blocks away—all airport shuttle services are available from there.
Getting around
Tons of subway lines and easy bus/train access are within a few blocks. It's very easy to hail a cab, call an Uber, or even hop on a bike taxi right on the block. There's free street parking on the block (check times on street signs) or paid parking in the lot next to the building.
