Keep it simple at our much-loved original 1970s, clean & cosy Kiwi beach bach on 1/4 acre. Ideal retreat, WFH, &/or temp spot for month. Bliss!

Central location: 2 min walk to ocean via beach access. 5 min walk to supermarket, cafes, restaurants, & miles of canal trails. 5 min drive to malls (Pap Plaza or Bayfair).

15-30 min drive to iconic downtown Mount or Tauranga city. Perfect for regional day trips.

No pets or parties, smoke-free :)

Central location and close proximity to beach and local amenities in a private residential setting. Entire home on large fully fenced 1/4 acre property.

Off street parking in driveway.

Easy 2-3 min walk to ocean via beach access - great sunbathing, swimming, surfing, stand up paddling, kayaking, miles of beach to walk or cycle at mid-low tide. 5-8 min walk to local produce supermarket, cafes, restaurants, gastropub, or entrance to miles of canal trails. 5 min drive or 30 min beach walk to malls (Domain, Pāpāmoa Plaza or Bayfair) - great eateries, top class restaurants and shopping galore.

Or relax at home. Covered back patio looking out to backyard allows outdoor enjoyment rain or shine - cosy up with a cuppa, a book, or enjoy your meal. Outdoor table with bench seats for up to four.

Kitchen well equipped for your home-cooked meals - oven/stove and microwave (note: no dishwasher); or enjoy the many local eats - loads of dine out, pick up and delivery options!

Open plan dining and living area with comfy furniture. Big screen TV.

Temperature control: wall-mounted AC/heat pump in open area - not usually needed most months. We usually enjoy local temperatures with layered clothing, throw blankets, down duvets and natural fresh airflow versus artificial heating/cooling.

Freestanding portable fan, space heater and a dehumidifier available for extra comfort if needed to suit your personal preference or unusual weather.

Two bedrooms with wardrobes and bedside tables - one super-king bed (medium); one queen bed (firm tempurpedic). Comfy as!

WFH office space with WiFi available.
Adjacent space to take time or a break to stretch, breathe, meditate and/or practice your strengthening or yoga flow!

Single bathroom with toilet, basin and shower over bath.

Front-loader washer and drier. Option to hang your clothes if you prefer to line dry outdoors.

Enjoy the morning sunrise on a beach walk or your morning cuppa in the backyard; with sunset streaming into the living room and office. *Or use the black out roller blinds throughout if you prefer to dodge the afternoon sun or want to sleep in!

Security-latch windows in living room, bedrooms and bathroom for natural airflow. Most windows have screens to prevent flies/insects if you’re cooking or have lights on at night.

Host has customary security camera at property entrance. Low-crime area however always advise guests to secure house, windows, your vehicle and valuables as usual safety practice.
