With no close neighbours in view of Walden you have space, privacy and peace and quiet but you are only 16 kms. from the main Flinders Island township of Whitemark, where you will find the local supermarket, fuel, bakery, take away, hotel, library and medical facilities. The supermarket (open 5 and 1/2 days) should be your first point of call after leaving the airport.

"Walden" is our "time out" from the hustle and bustle,set in a stunning location on Flinders Island, staring at a mountain but only 5 minutes walk to a pristine beach that more often than not, you can have to yourself. We love the peace and quiet, the fresh air, the clear, starry nights and the abundant wildlife. A charismatic, self -built cottage, it's now time for you to share all Walden has to offer as we travel further afield. And remember; The clock of life is wound but once and no-one has the power to tell just when the clock will stop, at a late or early hour. Now is all the time you own, the past a golden link, Go do it now my friend, it may be later than you think.
