Our cozy, green living home is conveniently located just minutes away from downtown Lancaster. All guests are welcome as you come to visit everything the area has to offer: historical destinations, restaurants, museums, theaters, colleges and a wide variety of other sights to see in Lancaster County and central PA.

Our home has all the charm and character of its contemporary 1940's homes in the area, but has all the conveniences of modern green living.

We have new stainless steel appliances in the kitchen (double oven/stove combo, refrigerator, toaster, Kitchen Aid stand mixer, juice press), along with everything else you need to feel right at home: dishwasher, drip coffee maker with filters, and microwave. All dishes, silverware,and pots & pans are available for use.

Our solar system in the backyard provides all the electric we need to run the entire home, including the easy to use, touchscreen climate control heat pump system.

We offer comfortable beds and a relaxing feeling of home. 2 Roku streaming devices are available for use: 1 in the main bedroom and the other in the family room, along with a DVD player and antenna for local channels.

When your done with your travels for the day, our back porch offers a great place to unwind. The easy to use gas/charcoal combo grill is great for a cookout, and the outdoor dining set for 6 with solar-powered LED lights on the umbrella offer a great place to sit as the sun goes down. There is also a chiminea to build a fire, with kindling available. Firewood can be purchased at several local stores.

We have plenty of safe, off-street parking. Our personal items will be kept in the dressers and closets, so they are not available for guest access. Also, the basement and home office are not accessible for guests.

Our home is located on a main route just 4 miles from the heart of downtown Lancaster. Within a 1/2 mile walk there are several restaurants, a newsstand, and a few thrift shops.

The beautiful neighborhood located adjacent to our home offers a great place to take a relaxing walk. There are also several parks within a 15 minute drive that offer wonderful children play areas, nature walks, picnic areas, disc golf, basketball, and more.

We are located less than 20 minutes from Spooky Nook, Lancaster Central Market, That Fish Place, Franklin & Marshall College, Millersville University, The Strasburg Railroad, Dutch Wonderland, Rockvale Outlets, PA Dutch Country attractions, American Music Theater, Dutch Apple Dinner Theater, Fulton Opera House, Sight & Sound Theater, and much more.

Within a 30 minute drive, you can reach Lititz, PA, and Hershey, PA.

A little more than an hour away are Gettysburg, PA, Philadelphia, PA, and Baltimore, MD.
