Our apartment is an "international" apartment, so we are happy to receive people from all over the world. The person who stays in the room will usual be sharing the apartment with me and one other roommate. We are friendly, open minded, and try to remain drama-free. We foster an environment of respect and friendliness. We enjoy meeting new people and sharing our knowledge of the city and the neighborhood with them. And, whenever possible, we’d like to grab a drink or bite with our guests.

The building is located right on the riverside drive between 150 and 151st street in Hamilton Heights which historically and architecturally is one of New York City’s richest and most diverse neighborhoods. The development of the area from West 135th to West 155th Street, Edgecombe Avenue to the Hudson, spans a period of over 350 years and is an exciting and evolving chapter of the settlement of Manhattan Island and the development of New York City. It’s a great place to live for students, artists, musicians, actors, dancers, community activists, young professionals, families, and seniors and has a very lively atmosphere. The neighborhood is quite and safe. Plenty of cafes, bars, parks, restaurants, shops, churches, and small businesses around. The subway will take you to Times Square in under 20 minutes and downtown in under 30. Coming home late at night is not an issue at all, even on the weekends. Cabs will always bring you if you don't feel comfortable taking the subways after a few drinks.
