Frog Corner offers 5 bedrooms, 2 King beds, 3 double beds, 2 single beds. Pool is heated by 88 solar tubes (needs sunshine) and open June to September. Guests have private access to two gardens, front garden and, to the back a parterre with BBQ and two patios, and in the main gardens is the private enclosed pool area. The remainder of the grounds and drive are shared with the owners. Parking for a maximum of five cars is provided on the Common by the front door. Frog Corner has been designed with strong ECO credentials, A+++ rated appliances, LED lighting, solar hot water, solar pool heating and more. There are lots of original beams (one low beam in the kitchen & one bedroom). The owners live in the Lodge opposite, and are on hand for any services or help you may require, (we are generally gardening while you are with us).

Here are the new measures for your safe keeping and that of the changeover team, I hope it makes sense to you (in these very strange times)

- the pool area is for your exclusive use from 11am until around 7pm every day (from 9am to 11am, I clean the pool, and take the safety cover off)
- a new deep cleaning regime has now been put in place with hospital grade cleaning materials used to wipe down every work top, handle, bannister, etc.
- hand soap dispensers have been placed in every bathroom and by the kitchen sink.
- you will have a private entrance to come and go as you please and cars are parked directly in front of your private entrance gated to the property.
- on your arrival, I will show one person round the house to ensure you know how to work everything, I will wear a mask and would ask that whoever I show round would do the same. We will be able to keep a 2m distance.
- to protect the changeover team, I have provided laundry bags in each of the bedrooms and would politely ask that guests strip their beds before departure and put their bed linen and towels into the bag and deposit in the porch.

Mid week bookings are a min of 3 night stay (July and August 2 night Fri/Sat min stay; bank holidays 3 night min; 4 nights for mid week).
Frog Corner is a no smoking house.
The Organgery can be a little chilly outside of Spring and Summer - so Autumn & Winter guests use the breakfast room for dining (special measures can be put in place for special celebrations in the Orangery during cold spells - if required, (there is an extra charge for additional heating the Orangery, no additional charge for Xmas & New Year).
The log burning fire will be set for guests during Spring, Autumn & Winter, if guests wish to use the fire there is a £20 charge, payable on site. For heating, the fire does not need to be lit, but for ambience is lovely (central heating will be on regardless). Extra logs are provided in the basket for 2 nights (no extra charge).
Bank Holidays are a minimum of 3 night stays.
During the open pool months, the pool can be opened by 11am and closes by 7pm.
A maximum of 5 cars can be parked outside the front door on the Common.
There is an early arrival option from 2pm and or late departure option until midday are available on request, there is a £100 charge for each option.

Frog Corner is set in a very private setting off the main road. There are no neighbours, and there is a farm opposite. The Zoo should you wish to visit, is literally across the road (2 minute walk). There are many spectacular walks from the house which is situated on the highest point of the Chiltern Hills. There is a thatched pub and restaurant within walking distance as well as the village church, both of which are on either side of the common on the main road through the village. Frog Corner is classified as an area of outstanding beauty (AONB), and there are a number of beautiful walks and stunning views stretching across the three counties of Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire.
