Funky and spacious 85m2 apartment in the heart of trendy Prenzlauer Berg, surrounded by shops, restaurants and bars.

The space is a newly renovated 'Altbau' apartment on the 3rd floor of a beautiful old apartment building - the apartment has big high ceilings and a very spacious feel, along with a unique living room art space. Two small balconies provide a lovely place to get some fresh air and a great view over the bustling and trendy Helmholtz quarter of Prenzlauer Berg. The apartment has two double bedrooms, a bathroom with bathtub, a big living room with unique wall paintings and a comfortable couch, as well as a fully equipped kitchen for guests to use with dishwasher, fridge, a high-end slow juicer, gas stove, electric oven, and all your cooking essentials, as well as a small dining space. Ich spreche natürlich auch Deutsch!

You will have access to the whole apartment, but since it is where I usually live, I will need to retain some cupboard and storage space for my own clothes etc. On the plus side this means that the apartment is equipped for real life living, unlike many short-term apartments which lack many everyday equipment items.

Prenzlauer Berg is one of the most bustling neighbourhoods in Berlin, with an abundance of shops, bars, cafes and restaurants. It belonged to the former East Berlin, but was one of the first areas to begin gentrification, and is now a great mix of old and new Berlin. There is a supermarket right next door, and plenty of eating options within 1-2 minutes walk. Highlights include an amazing Japanese place 1 minute away, Berlin's best ice cream 3 minutes away, and a little further afield an amazing traditional German restaurant that is off the tourist trail, as well as Berlin's oldest and biggest beer garden. All of the tourist attractions are very easy to get to, and there is a good place nearby to rent bicycles (the best way to get around!).
