Perfectly located in quiet quaint fishing village, Liscannor. A cosy and warm 2 bedroom (both ensuite) apartment. First floor with steps up to own entrance, across road from popular seafood restaurants & friendly traditional pubs. 2 mins walk to pier/picnic area. 5 mins drive to Lahinch, for golf/beach/surfing/nightlife. 7 mins to Cliffs of Moher. 11 mins to old world charm of Ennistymon for shopping /walks along the river/waterfall. Ideal for touring the Burren, Doolin & Lisdoonvarna.

The property is just across the road from 3 popular traditional pubs with great food, friendly atmosphere and music - while at the same time being in a very quiet and peaceful area.

The property has been redecorated, which includes new beds/linen and furniture.

We have strong broadband which can run many devises together. A small smart TV with Saorview channels, Netflix and Youtube are provided.

Both bedrooms are ensuite. The upstairs room has a bath with a shower hose and downstairs has an instant electric shower.

Heating is storage heating with instant electric heaters in bedrooms. Electricity charges are included in the quoted prices. We have a wood burner stove for a cosy evening by the fire.

We have an undercounter mini fridge freezer which has plenty of space, but would recommend you do not do a full family weekly shop! (see photo).

Not suitable for infants or toddlers, we do not take bookings for children under 2.

Attractions in area:

Cliffs of Moher Coastal Walk commencing at Liscannor, as you walk you will have great views of Liscannor Bay, the cliffs and Lahinch. You can walk as much as you feel up to ! For more of a challenging walk you can follow on this path all the way to Doolin, via the Cliffs of Moher Visitor Centre. (approx 6km, 7 mins drive from Liscannor).

Prom walks/swimming/surf schools/golf/restaurants/nightlife in nearby Lahinch (5 mins drive)

White Strand 1k outside Lahinch is perfect for watersports. Board hire and SUP hire is available in the area.

Swim at Clahane in the coves and natural rock pools that develop when tide is in. Dramatic scenery and panoramic views. It's just 1k outside Liscannor.

The Rock Shop for Coffee/cakes/lunch (just outside Liscannor), enjoy either inside or outside dining with panoramic views. Browse their shop of gems, fossils and crystals in natural form. There is an extensive range of jewellery/pottery and textiles.

Moher Cottage/St Bridget's well. On the hill enroute to Cliffs of Moher. Enjoy locally made fudge and cake with delicious coffee and spectacular views of area with outside sheltered dining. Local crafts on sale. Across the road is the St Bridget's Holy Well - an interesting historic place to visit, where the waters are believed to have healing powers.

Moher Hill Open Farm with fabulous walks with panoramic views and a coffee shop. The whole family will love it!

Visit Atlantic Way Art Gallery to view artist Ann Daly's dramatic artwork of the seascapes of the Atlantic Way on display - beside the church in Liscannor.

Picnic at the pier at Liscannor with views of Bay and Lahinch beach.

Ennistymon, the local market town with old world charm, is great for shopping and dining. There is a wonderful walk along the cascades/waterfall and the River Cullenagh. Recommend lunch in the Falls Hotel, enjoy the views from the restaurant which has a formidable history of four and a half centuries embracing clans and warfare, landlords and tenants, poets, dreamers and entrepreneurs!

The Burren National Park for tours and walks/sightseeing. Visitor information centre at Corofin (30 mins drive from Liscannor).

The Burren Perfumery at Carron (30 mins) A family perfume company, with a tea room, herb garden & a blending area. A lovely place to browse and enjoy a coffee in the heart of the Burren.

Visit Doolin for traditional music and 'craic' . Doolin pier is where boat trips
to Aran Islands/Cliffs of Moher tours depart. Doolin is a pretty little village with some dramatic scenery around it. (15 mins drive).

The John P Holland Centre, dedicated to the life and work of J Holland a native of Liscannor who developed the modern day submarine.

Vaughan's for fine Seafood dining

A small quaint quiet village, popular for restauants. It is a quite area.

The immediate neighbourhood offers the following which I would highly recommend:

Restaurants in Liscannor:
- Vaughans Anchor Inn (Great seafood)
- Joseph McHughs (Good range of menu, including pizza)
- Cliffs of Moher Hotel (Gastrobar)

Egan’s pub, across the road, is a great place for an enjoyable drink with traditional music most evenings.

Visitors Centre at the Cliffs of Moher or do the Cliff Walk from Liscannor.

Enjoy a coffee and local fudge at Moher Cottage with a panoramic view of the area, situated at the top of hill near the Cliffs of Moher, then stroll across the road to St Bridget’s Well - believed to have healing powers.

Lunch at the Rock Shop, just outside the town, for tasty cakes and paninis, great outside seating with views. Browse the displays of fossils, gemstones and collectible rocks and their extensive range of jewellery, pottery & giftware.

Visit the Rock Art Display along the sea wall at Clahane, 1km from Liscannor town, swim in the natural swimming pool when tide is in or sunbath on the black rocks.
