Annys’s Treetop on the Quietside, Mt Desert Island Acadia
Anny’s Treetop is a Second Floor fully equipped 1 bedroom private entrance Apartment. 'Sink into Softness’ can best describe Treetop. It also has full sized sofa bed with a memory foam mattress. It accommodates 4 people.The kitchen is fully equipped.There is a washer and dryer.
We are located 1.5 miles from Southwest Harbor, 15+ minutes from the Bar Harbor and Entrance to Acadia National Park,and a few minutes from the Park on this side.

In Treetop every chair, sofa and bed cradles and eases you into relaxation.
'The Park', On This side, is just down the road.
There are Hiking Trails to the mountains and the Ocean, Lobster Warfs and Restaurants, Bikes,Kayaks & Canoes,Eco Lake to swim in,Museums and Shops ++ are all on the Quietside without the wandering hoards of other tourists.
There is a 42” smart TV with connection to Direct TV, and of course WIFI.
Sheets and blankets for the sofa bed are in the living room closet. Close the sofa bed slowly so the foam mattress can adjust itself back to a Compressed position.There is also a little closet room next to linen closet, (the light is over the shelf). This way the sofa guests also have a place for their things.
Other things to note....
My Standard for Cleanliness for my Guests
I want to assure the all surfaces in your room , in the bathroom and in the kitchen have been cleaned with a hospital grade disinfectant. all switches , handles and any surface you may touch . Also I have used a UV light to sterilize the spread on your bed . as well as the bathroom ,kitchen and livingroom.
I want you to know that your sheets and towels have been bleached between EVERY guest.
The spread is washed every 3rd guest. I do not use room sprays or fabric softeners.
If you are here in June and July and a surface seems a bit dusty, it isn't dust, it is yellow pollen from the trees. It can get that way in a half hour with the window open, so please do not think I keep a dusty house!
The Shower is bleached between every guest turnover. The tile floors, sinks, and toilet have been all bleached.
I have a State of Maine licensed Kitchen so that means our well water is safe.
The rug in your room is steam cleaned every November and sprayed with the disinfectant as mentioned above.
AS A BONUS!!! guests staying for 4 Days OR MORE (only) will have access to our Time Share Perks! ...Guests will be able to use the Pool, Exercise Room, Game Room and Hot Tub.There are even Tennis courts! (A fee ($5 )to the Time Share Desk at check-in is needed. This is just a 5-minute ride from the house, I have to check you in . Which will be no problem.

Grabriel( a new rescue dog ) Grabriel is a German Shepherd who is our doorbell ! He has a big woof !woof ! sound, then he walks to you sniffs and usually rolls over for a belly rub. He is not allowed upstairs (even he tells you he is ), and we do not wish you to encourage it.

Please park beside the Garage and see the sign that points to around the corner for the entrance to apartment. It will be open.If you are here before 8pm please come to the front door so we can meet you and answer any questions.
If you come later than 8pm( unless later is arranged) I will look forward to meeting you in the morning. Again, come to the front door.
The door is always open, and we live in a safe area.

WE ARE ON A SEPTIC SYSTEM DO NOT THROW GREASE OR COFFEE GROUNDS OR FOOD SCRAPS DOWN SINK!!! DO NOT THROW ANYTHING OTHER THAN TOILET PAPER DOWN TOILET !!
One of the things you might want to do is buy Lobsters at Thurstons or Beals Warf ( they both have restaurants as well) In the front closet there is a lobster pot and in the Guest Manuel instructions as to how to cook lobsters. however, you might want the warm to do tat for you and they will. then come home to eat !
When you arrive I usually sit-down with you and explain things to you , i.e. Places to eat , places to see, and how to get around . If you come later than 8 the night before you are more than welcome to come down and ask for suggestions to hiking trails and restaurants
There will be an assortment of flyers on the bottom drawer of the round table next to the blue chair in the living room as suggestions as to just some of the things to do on this great island.
