This lovely apartment is situated on the fellside overlooking Penrith & "The Lakes". It's a quiet area and there is plenty of free street parking outside. The apartment is cosy yet spacious being on the 2nd floor of a large early Victorian era house.

In quiet area close to town centre.

Pets are allowed for a fee of £5.75/pet/night paid in advance or £10/pet/night otherwise - contact us to discuss

COVID-19

We are taking bookings however this is on the basis that it is understood that any booking made may need to be postponed if the government's Covid-19 restrictions change. PLEASE read the whole listing so that you understand as much as you can about it.

We are implementing an enhanced cleaning/disinfecting regime as per relevant Airbnb guidelines and other agency recommendations. As detail in these recommendations, to protect you our guests from sharing items such as teabags, coffee, sugar, oil, salt & pepper etc. (which cannot themselves easily be cleaned) we will no longer be providing these despite them being included alongside other amenities (Pots & Pans). You will therefore need to bring with you/purchase locally ALL foodstuffs necessary for your stay.

If you have any concerns regards contamination, we recommend washing any cooking utensils, cutlery, crockery and glassware prior to use.

Prior to leaving the apartment at the end of your stay please ensure that you have yourself washed, dried and put away kitchen things and disinfected, using spray provided, worktops and other high frequency touched surfaces. Please leave windows open to allow airing.

Lovely 2nd floor apartment over 2 floors with separate kitchen, dining, lounge, bedroom & shower room/WC areas.

The lounge can double as bedroom 2 having a comfortable double (pull-out) sofa-bed.

Please tell us how you wish the beds to be made up at the time of making your reservation.

*) Travel cot, highchair and Stairgate available on request. Please mention requirements at time of booking

Bedding (Duvets & Pillows), bed linen, hand soap, shower gel, toilet paper, tea towels and bathroom hand towels are all provided.

Only personal towels are NOT provided as we are unable to manage laundering/drying of these items in a timely manner - you WILL therefore need to bring your own. If you're unable to bring your own towels for any reason (perhaps you're travelling from abroad, starting your reservation whilst already away from home or perhaps you've already left to start your reservation and have forgotten to bring them) please contact us and we can discuss alternative options.

Private two storey apartment on the 2nd floor which is accessed from a communal entrance door/hall/stairway. Being on the 2nd floor (3rd floor for our american friends) there is a reasonable number of stairs to climb. They are easy going, have half landings every so often and there is even a sofa on the 1st (US 2nd) floor to recouperate if necessary ;-)

If you have bikes then you can store up to 2 in the porch, if you have more than 2 please contact us to discuss alternate arrangements. The area is a quiet and safe neighbourhood. Just for transparency and so you are aware: The apartment is on the 2nd floor and is accessed by easy going stairs with half landings. If climbing stairs is a problem for you or any of your party you may wish to consider one of our other listings.

The house is situated on the fellside in what is known as the "New Streets" area overlooking the town towards The Lakes.

Penrith has many nice restaurants catering for many tastes and budgets and has several Pubs, Inns and bars providing a wide selection of food, drinks and local ales.
