Cozy, cozy, cozy!! The cabin has 3 bedrooms & 2 full bathrooms, large kitchen + 2 living spaces (1 on each level). 1 bedroom is on the main level with a king bed + connecting bathroom. The 2nd & 3rd bedrooms are on the lower level (both queen beds) with the 2nd bathroom located in the lower level as well. Heat & A/C on main level of house, & lower level stays cool year round, space heaters provided for if it gets a little chilly during the cooler months.
Great for a group looking to stay in & cozy up for the weekend, and also great location for a group looking for a place to land while exploring North, GA!
3 outdoor living spaces: The front porch is perfect for morning coffee & watching the deer walk by! The main level back deck has a grill + 6 person dining table & umbrella to enjoy meals outside. The lower level back deck has 2 comfy rockers to sit & relax + 4 chairs & fire pit for making s'mores. The fire pit is a solo stove brand & can be used on the deck, the solo stove also emits much less smoke than a normal fire pit, so your hair & clothes won't smell like a fire!
About a 3-5 minute walk from the front door of the cabin, you will have access to the Coosawattee river. The access point also has a sitting area & picnic tables to enjoy the river view. It is a gorgeous & relaxing spot to spend time and enjoy the sunset or nice day.
Kitchen comes stocked with necessities needed for cooking & entertaining : pots, pans, basic spices & oils, toaster, coffee maker, wine glasses & opener, crock pot & much more. In the main level living room, the TV cabinet comes stocked with board games fun for the family & also fun for adults!
TVs : 2 TVs in the cabin, 1 in the main level living room & the other in the downstairs bonus room. There is no cable in the cabin, but both TVs are connected to wi-fi & have smart TV capabilities to connect to streaming services you are subscribed to.
Plenty of linens & towels provided for your stay, there is also a laundry room with washer, dryer, & detergent pods stocked to wash anything during your visit.
Parking & driving in : Cabin is located on a gravel road, the first house on the street & the driveway is paved. The driveway is very steep since we are located in the Blue Ridge Mountains! There is plenty of space to park 2 cars, & a third car could fit if necessary, but 2 or less cars would be ideal for getting in & out of the driveway.
This cabin is truly a wonderful place to get away & enjoy the simpler things in life, like watching the river roll & the birds chirp in the morning. It is my home away from home & I am excited for others to be able to getaway to this cabin too!
