Seriously indulge in the range of activities on-site facilities, enjoyed by all of the farm’s guests. Champion the glorious leisure centre within the tranquil settings, offering a shared indoor heated swimming pool (open 7am to 10pm daily) and games room (pool table, table tennis). Or simply kick back and relax.

Located just outside the historic market town of Bakewell, Rabbit Hutch is one of ten sensitively converted barns and cottages set amongst three acres of beautiful private countryside with views over Lathkill Dale NNR.

You have shared use of a well-established children’s outdoor play area, gardens with plenty of outdoor seating and built in barbecue areas. Or fire up a cricket tournament on the open field, which is also equipped with football nets and badminton facilities. There is also a communal laundry room, a secure bike shed and a boot room with walking maps and guides to the areas activities.

Undeniably tasteful with very English country cottage décor, Rabbit Hutch offers chilled out living with spades of original character. Comprising a dining area, well equipped kitchen and steps down to a snug with comfy corner sofa and TV, there’s plenty of space for four to dine and relax together. The downstairs family bathroom has a bath and separate shower.

Rabbit Hutch sleeps four across a first floor double bedroom and a twin room. There is also a convenient upstairs cloakroom toilet between the two rooms.

Rabbit Hutch is situated in the tree-lit courtyard and has its own outdoor table and chairs.

SHARED FACILITIES:
Bike Storage:
The dedicated secure storage bike shed has bike racks and a push button entry mechanism. There is also an outside hosepipe facility to clean your bikes after a day's ride.
Boot Room:
The dedicated boot room allows you to change muddy boots and wet clothes and leave them in situ without having to take them in to your beautiful cottages. You also don't have to worry about the mud or the wet floor in the boot room........We will do the cleaning!
Leisure Complex:
Situated in the grounds, the leisure centre comprises a heated swimming pool and upstairs games room with pool table and table tennis.
The swimming pool has shower and changing facilities and is heated to 29 degrees all year round. Perfect for resting & recuperating after a long day's walk or as a rainy day alternative to getting out & about.
Please note, you will be required to bring your own towels for the swimming pool.

Set among the rolling valleys and peaks of Derbyshire, Rabbit Hutch is perfect if you’re looking for fresh air and fine walks. Dovedale one of the most beautiful valleys in England with its famed stepping stones is not to be missed Or venture a little further into the Peak District for more adventurous hikes.

The beautiful, historic market town of Bakewell, home of the world famous Bakewell Pudding, is three miles offering a good selection of shops, pubs and restaurants and a market every Monday.

Of course, the Peak District isn’t just idyllic scenery and rolling hills. Explore the mysterious caverns of Castleton, the elegant spa town of Buxton or enjoy the many stately homes on offer including Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall and Hardwick Hall, to mention a few.

Appealing to children in particular, exciting theme parks, spectacular caverns and nearby Matlock Farm Park provide plentiful entertainment, come rain or shine.
