This 3 Bed, 1 Bath apartment is part of a renovated historic 1910 duplex. Located in Weinland Park, 2 blocks from High St. and the Short North. A short walk to many popular bars and restaurants nearby or a $5-10 Uber ride to downtown.

Construction- There is often construction going on within the city. A house next door is currently under renovations and we want guests to be aware of this prior to booking.

We take our responsibilities as hosts seriously and we want to be excellent neighbors in our community. We actively manage our listings by active exterior cameras and we enforce our rules. We want all of our guests to have a safe and enjoyable experience during their stay!

The apartment easily accommodates small and large groups. If you have a large group, we have 3 other listings nearby called Comfy II, Urban I, and Urban II (see listings under our profile). No parties or events are allowed at these locations.

ADDITIONAL GUESTS & FEES
Registered, paying overnight guests only. Unauthorized guests- To combat the issue of parties, no visitors or unapproved guests are allowed at the apartment.

The additional guest fee allows us to host at cost effective prices to small and large groups (example- apartment sleeps 9 guests but the lower the rate allows 2-4 guests to affordably rent it also). The additional guest fee is per person/night for the 4th guest and up. This cost is automatically calculated when entering the guest count on an inquiry or reservation request. The quote breakdown shows the additional guest fees, if applicable, when entering the number of guests and dates for your trip. Please ensure you have the correct guest count. Any guest changes must be done before the start of the reservation. **Refunds for additional guest fees are at Host discretion. **

PETS
Pet dogs are $35 per dog for short stays. Pet fee and cleaning fee will vary for long stays. Please notify us if you are bringing a dog **prior** to your stay. We ask that you clean up after your pet during your stay. We love furry friends, but we also want to maintain the apartment and exterior for all guests. An additional charge of $150 will apply for any pet damages/stains.

The following dog breeds are NOT ALLOWED: Akita, Chow, American Stafford-shire Terrier, Pit Bull, Rottweiler, Doberman Pinscher, Wolf Hybrids, Presa Canarios, or any mix of these breeds, and/or any dog with a bite history.

BYOAB “BRING YOUR OWN AIR BED”
There is room for 2 additional guests (guests 6 & 7) to sleep on an air mattress. The apartment can accommodate 5 guests in beds. Guests can provide their own air mattress. We are happy to supply bedding provided we are informed 2 days prior to your arrival. A Queen-sized air mattress is available for rent for an additional $15.

DESCRIPTION
Our 1900's renovated apartment has WIFI (5GHZ) and central A/C. The main entrance room to the apartment has a sitting area, perfect for reading, and a twin bed. Please note the 1st floor bedroom has the front entrance to the apartment (see photos for apartment layout diagram). For groups utilizing the 1st floor bedroom, the backdoor can be used as the main entrance to the apartment to give the 3rd bedroom more privacy.

The first floor open kitchen and living area has plenty of seating and cable TV.

The second floor has two bedrooms and a full bathroom. Each bedroom has a comfortable queen bed and plenty of closet and drawer space. The bedrooms are relatively large and can easily fit a pack-n-play.

Plenty of towels, washcloths, a hair dryer, and shampoo/conditioner/body wash are provided in the full bathroom. There is a full-size bathtub and shower.

Backyard is fenced and is shared with the duplex apartment next door (also on Airbnb). There is outdoor seating, a charcoal grill (upon request), and a fire pit. Firewood (usually $5 a bundle) and charcoal are available at the nearby Kroger grocery store or Lowes.

The Short North Arts District is one of the Midwest’s best kept secrets. There is a huge variety of unique shops, bars and restaurants, and art galleries along High Street and a number of annual events that take place year-round. We have a thorough list of recommendations in the house to local bakeries, cafes, and restaurants.

The Short North is made up of several historic neighborhoods; this home is located in Weinland Park, a cool, urban area on the East side of High St above 5th Ave. Weinland Park still has its edgy, up-and-coming vibe- there is a lot of construction and development still underway, real estate is hot here despite its sometimes worn look. You will see a lot of renovated homes as well as ones not-yet-touched. This is not a cookie-cutter neighborhood; it's an historic, city neighborhood. The neighborhood is home to a mix of young professionals and families and close to an elementary school. This apartment is in walking distance to High Street and N. 4th Street coffee shops, restaurants, and bars!

IS THE NEIGHBORHOOD SAFE?
We live nearby and feel the neighborhood is relatively safe, but it can be a bit intimidating if you are not use to city living. Please note this is the city- we do have petty crime in the Short North and University area, and always advise to practice not leaving valuables in your car (we have not had any issues at our apartments, I state this because we are in the city) and walk with a buddy at night on well-lit, busy roads such as High Street, Summit, and 5th Ave.

• Bars & breweries- Seventh & Son, North High Brewing, Brother Drakes
• Grocery stores- Kroger & Giant Eagle Market Fresh (Third Ave, Grandview)
