Amoreiras is one of the best and quiet places to live in Lisbon. 2 minutes walking is the Amoreiras Shopping center, where you can buy anything you need till 23h. The apartment is near Campo de Ourique one of the best "bairros" of Lisbon. There you can find a friendly and traditional atmosphere; diferent and alternative shops, great restaurants, markets, gardens, playground for children and more of a typical bairro of Lisbon.
5 minutes walking you can also go to Largo do Rato. Here you find the Metro Station and go to the city center. If you like walking you can go more 5 minutes through Largo do Rato and then Rua da Escola Politécnica till Jardim do Príncipe Real. While walking you will find alternative shops, designer shops, antiques shops, some cafes, a very unique mix between old and modern. Jardim do Príncipe Real is a wonderful place to rest and appreciate the unique athmosphere. Being there you are very close to Bairro Alto and the old city center.
