Merryfield Farm House is, at its heart, an ancient home with many later improvements.
It can be traced back as far as the 16th Century .
Entering through the front porch you enter lounge 1, which has 2 comfortable leather sofas, a TV & a suit of armour!
Up the first set of stairs and to the left at the top is the master bedroom 1, with large 4 poster bed, dressing table, wardrobe & TV.
Off of the master suite is Bathroom 1 which is a Jack & Jill bathroom which connects to the childrens sleeping area. Bathroom 1 has a walk in shower, Toilet, wash basin & Bath.
The childrens sleeping area of the master suite is off of the Jack & Jill bathroom and contains a single bed, small wardrobe & chest of draws and and completes the master suite.
Back down the stairs and to your right you will find bedroom 2, which is a twin bedroom with small dressing area, leading to bathroom 2.
Bathroom 2 is a wet room with walk in shower, wash basin & toilet.
Across the hall from Bedroom 2 (and through lounge 1) you will enter Lounge 2.
Lounge 2 is the oldest part of the house with a large built in fireplace, 3 leather sofas, TV.
As you leave Lounge 2 you will enter the very spacious kitchen, with a leather sofa & table with seating for up to 9 people. The Kitchen has an American style fridge freezer & ice dispenser, sink, dishwasher, range oven & microwave. kettle & toaster. There is a backdoor which leads to the courtyard area.
To the left as you enter the kitchen is a large utility room with sink, washing machine, tumble dryer as well as the recycling area.
The Utility room also holds bathroom 5 which has a walk in shower, toilet & wash basin.
The utility room also has a door leading outside where you will find dustbins & an ash bin as well as a small log & coal store.
Before you enter the utility room you will find a second staircase that leads up to bedroom 3 & 4.
Bedroom 3 is on your right at the top of the stairs. this room contains a Kingsize (Queen on Air BnB) 4 poster bed, dressing table & clothes hanging area.
Bathroom 4 is an en-suite to bedroom 4, and has a toilet, walking shower & wash basin.
Across from bedroom 3 is bedroom 4. Twin Bedroom 5 is a light and airy room with 2 single beds, TV, Bluetooth ceiling speakers, draws & clothes hanging area.
Bathroom 5 is en-suite to bedroom 5 and has a walk in shower, wash basin & toilet.
If you head back downstairs and through the kitchen to the backdoor you can exit the kitchen to the courtyard area.
In the courtyard area you will find a range of tables & chairs, along with sun loungers & a gas BBQ (spring & Summer only).
Across the courtyard is the entrance to the games room.
Access is restricted by pin code so that you can restrict access to this area if you have young children.
inside the games room you will find Air-hockey, Table-football, Pool table & darts board.
There is an entrance door which leads from the games room to the pool room. this is also controlled by pin code for safety reason, and has a separate pin code to the games room so you can prevent unauthorised access to the pool and sauna area for safety reasons.
Unsupervised children are not allowed in the pool room & sauna at any time.
In the pool room you will find a large Sauna, with a newly installed electric sauna heater.
You will also find bathroom 6 in this area which has a walk in electric shower, wash basin & toilet as well as a small changing area.
In the main pool room you will find our heated swimming pool, which is approximately 1m deep. There is also a seating area as well as towel rails over the radiators.
As you leave the pool and games complex you enter the grounds of Merryfield Farmhouse. To the front it is laid to lawn with a seating area and up by the entrance is a large parking area for up to 3 cars.
To the rear of the house is a large lawn area with children's climbing frame & swings, as well as a basketball hoop, table tennis, badminton & 5 aside football goal.
There is a exterior shower, with warm water mixer bar which is also suitable for washing your furry friend off after a day at the beach.
There is a ProjectEV electric vehicle charging point in the parking area.
It is fitted with a type 2 socket or there is a dedicated 3 pin socket adjacent to it.
Unlimited charging is available during your stay for a flat fee payable on arrival.
