Cosy 3-bedroom house featuring open-plan living area with wood burner, light airy kitchen and breathtaking views of the coast from the bedrooms. Fabulous location close to beaches, coastal path walking and the attractive "city" of St Davids.

This family home comprises:
- a large open-plan living area with sofas around a cosy woodburner, a separate seating area by French doors onto the garden, and a desk;
- a light and airy kitchen with velux windows and all amenities. There is a separate utility room with microwave, washing machine and dryer and space to hang wetsuits and air laundry;
- a large entrance hall and downstairs toilet;
- 3 double bedrooms, one of which is en suite;
- a folding bed for children and a travel cot also available for use;
- family bathroom;

There is a small garden with pond and patio along with a bench at the front of the house to catch the evening sun and a picnic bench. There is plenty of parking in the gravelled driveway.

During the school holiday period (end of July, August & early Sept), we regrettably can only take bookings for a minimum of 6 nights.
We will however welcome anyone who wishes to take advantage of any 'gaps' between weekly bookings.

Since this is a family home which we also frequently occupy during the holidays, there will be some personal items left in the house, particularly in the chests of drawers in the bedrooms and the wardrobes. I have emptied the top drawers for your use and made room in the wardrobes for you to hang your clothes.
PLEASE NOTE that there is a small pond in the garden which is sometimes partly concealed by plants and reeds. For your safety, please ensure that small children are supervised at all times when in the garden!
PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN TOWELS unless you are travelling from abroad when we may be able to make special arrangements. Just ask.

Anyone who has visited Pembrokeshire before will need no introduction - basically beaches galore, beautiful scenery and stunning coastal path walking. The house is conveniently located for all of this. My top picks for beaches are Whitesands/Newgale for surfing and Aber Mawr for a wilder, less populated experience. Aber Mawr is perfect for evening barbecues and there is a fantastic rope swing in the woods behind the beach!
We are equidistant from St Davids and Fishguard which are both worth visiting if you like to browse local shops and art galleries and have a coffee or light lunch. Lower Town Fishguard is a very pretty harbour and the Gwaun Valley is well worth visiting if you want a break from the beach. The "city" of St Davids boasts its cathedral, of course, a thriving tourist information centre, plenty of pubs and cafes and the best Italian ice cream for miles around.
Solva and Porthgain are also beautiful harbour villages with places to eat and galleries to visit. Sailing is available in Fishguard and Solva.
For the golfing enthusiasts, there is a very scenic nine-hole golf course a 10-minute drive away and the stunning St Davids City Golf Club overlooking Whitesands Bay.
The nearest supermarkets are in St Davids (CKs) and Fishguard (Teso Direct and Co-op). The main Tesco store and Morrisons are in Haverfordwest (25 min drive).
There is a pub a 5-min walk up the road which is great for a pint and a game of pool.
The filling station/Spar convenience store which is also within a short walking distance is very well-stocked although you may pay a premium. It's perfect for when you forget the essentials, like the lemon for the gin & tonic. Their made-to-order croissants and rolls are delicious and they also sell organic bread. Phone to order. Logs and kindling for the woodburner can also be purchased here.
We all know that rainy days and kids can be challenging. Nearby Haverfordwest has an indoor go-karting track, a trampolining centre and a softplay area for such days.

I spend most of the year in Sevenoaks since my husband works in London but this house in Pembrokeshire is our previous family home and our refuge for holidays and family get-togethers.
