Our designer tinyhomes are constructed entirely from timber, perfect for a cosy romantic getaway or for the eco-conscious holiday maker looking for a more sustainable Scottish holiday. You’ll find a fully functional modern bathroom complete with a rainhead shower, WC, and underfloor heating. In the kitchen area there is a hob, oven and fridge. Sleeping is in the gallery with a twin or superking mattress.

A Scandi-Scots design inspired by Scottish timber and Scandi design: the interior is birch ply and the floors are spalted Scottish beech. Inside you may find an Arne Jacobsen classic chair or furniture by a young Scots cabinet maker. Finished with Scottish artisan furnishings including Amy Briton tweeds, Skyeskyns sheepskin, and organic Scottish skincare products for a truly luxurious getaway. And of course a Danish Morso woodburning stove.

Note that the bed can be made up as a superking double or two twin singles.

We have used sustainable materials and ensured wall and roof insulation breathability in the renovation. Air-tightness is an important criteria in creating a home - and our build has an extra air-tightness membrane to ensure cosiness.

Two dogs up to 40 kg (80lbs) each are welcome however they must be pre-booked and are charged at £40 per dog per week or part week. This includes a dog bed, towel, treats, dog bowls and waste bags.

We are an historic estate of 1000 acres including semi natural woodlands, arable and pasture fields amongst the centuries old drystone dykes. The variety of habitats including Scots Pine and birch woodlands, heather heath, and mossy wetlands support a rich mix of plant and animal species, including rarities. It is exceptional in central Scotland.

By taking a wander or a cycle (we have for hire) you can discover the historic landscape of the Estate: from 300-year old trees to the C18th century sandstone farm buildings.

Conveniently centrally located: under an hour from Edinburgh and Glasgow, an hour from St Andrews, and 20 mins from Stirling. Nearby (6 miles) must-sees are the pretty villages of Dollar and its hillside Glen and Castle Campbell, and Culross, which is a National Trust for Scotland conservation village with a bright yellow 16th century Palace and is also an Outlander tv series set location.
