Excellent neighborhood pizza place. We have ordered exclusively from BMP (or Fast Friddies) for the past 10 years. They have a great selection of toppings and other things (the wings are great!) Make sure they ring the top doorbell on the front door!

This is our favorite Vietnamese restaurant, we have a take out menu in the apartment. We've been going there for 25 years. Hot and Spicy Chicken is great and they have the best egg rolls in the Twin Cities.

Excellent Indian fare. We've eaten there many times and it is close to Home Depot and the Icon Theater Complex in the West End.

The Guthrie Theater is the legendary regional theater founded by Sir Tyrone Guthrie in 1963. It's new location directly above the Stone Arch Bridge on the Mississippi is a beautiful architectural statement in it's own right. Affording beautiful views of the river and downtown from the cantilevered "bridge" on the East side of the building.
Excellent theater and many dining opportunities make for a great evening in downtown.

Run by Doug and Paul Anderson, Bryn Mawr Market is a great place to load up on essentials as well as some more exotic fare. Doug and Paul also run Fast Freddie's Pizza, two doors down. Fast Freddie's delivers to our home and it's the only pizza we order now that the kids have out grown Dominoes!
