Transportation
The taxi's are pretty expensive in the area, so I would recommend Uber or Lyft. There is also a water taxi that can pick you up at Louisiana Lagniappe and take you along the harbor.

There are lots of boat rentals along the harbor. There are also paddleboard and jetski rentals. You can also book fishing trips, sunset cruises, and parasailing.
I think this is the most convenient paddleboard rental especially if you are interested in getting to Crab Island. This rental is right on the end of the harbor.
