Cafes
Buddy Brew has several locations in Tampa. There is one in Hyde Park Village (that's the closest to my house), Kennedy Blvd., downtown and The Oxford Exchange. The Oxford Exchange is across the street from the University of Tampa and it's the most elaborate of the four. The coffee is great, but the tea bar at the Oxford exchange is extraordinary.
Their most recent location is at the food court in the Armature Works.

The focal point of the Riverwalk. Lots of outdoor events take place here including the Gasparilla Art and Music Festival and many concerts. They even paint the river green on St. Patrick's Day

Go for a walk along the Hillsborough river through downtown Tampa. I would recommend starting at the Water Works Park and heading south into downtown. If you do the full walk it's four miles round trip. I usually walk to Curtus Hixon Park dip my toes in the water fountain and then turn around. That's 2 miles round trip. You can stop at Ulele's or the Armiture Works for a drink and lunch or dinner.
