My favorite local restaurants
These are my favorite restaurants because they are non-chain and very unique.
Very cool Hotel which you obviously don’t need but it has a hip bar as well as restaurant with very good food! The have an outdoor fireplace and live music on a regular basis.

This place has been there for a very long time and hasn’t really changed in at least 30 years! The food is very good and the jazz band that is elevated behind the bar is always very good! It’s a great place to go sit at the bar, order appetizers and listen to the band!

This restaurant is a few blocks away and has great steaks! You can sit outside in the summer! It’s a pretty popular place and they have tuesdays and Sunday’s a steak special around $20 for a soup/salad and a NY strip steak! Great value!

More on the casual dining side but they have yummy food and their pizza is one of my favorites made in a brick oven. They are on door dash but I go pick up the pizza there myself a lot.

This place is in Newport (one neighborhood away) but it is worth checking out! It is so funky in an old pharmacy with old collectors items of all sorts! Food is really good!
The baked Brie is amazing!

Super quaint beer and wine bar. Very friendly owners. Dogs are allowed so if you are not a dog lover this might not be for you.
Try the sriracha maple bacon on a stick. Amazing!!!

Brewery
Fun place! They don’t have food but you can order pizza and food delivery there! It’s a fun place! You can take your dogs on the first floor but not on the rooftop which has incredible view of downtown Cincinnati

Perfect for a good homemade breakfast. It’s not fancy but the food is really good! Frank is cooking and his daughter is serving. It’s a family business and a great place to have a very reasonable but good breakfast!!!

This is in one neighborhood over and is fantastic! A very nice atmosphere with husband and wife owners who are very personable! They struggled to open it financially and are now ranked on the top of the best restaurants! A nice story!
