Definitely a touristy spot but cool all the same. Fried foods and crazy cocktails and the decor in this place is insane. Downstairs at the Narwhal they sometimes do live music and they have tons of arcade games and a photobooth!

Food Scene
This may be out of the way but it is my favorite restaurant in this city! Reasonably priced Italian food, Nepali Pizzas and Small plates are to die for. Even their desserts and drinks are on point. If you show up on the weekend show up when they open at 5 because it fills up fast and they don't take reservations! It's a 5 block walk from the Beacon Hill lightrail station as well, about a fifteen minute train ride from the Broadway station.

A little pricey but definitely worth it. Sitting upstairs is pretty cool because there is a large open bar where you can sit face to face with the cooks.
Definitely not your traditional sushi but delicious nonetheless. Great happy hour at the bar twice a day and always the best product used for sure. There rolls are huge and super tasty, cocktails are good too!

Definite tourist spot but i'm a native and I visit this place at least once a week. Frank's Produce is where I buy my groceries and i've been going there for years. The samosas at Saffron Spice are super tasty. Le Panier has the best pastries and if you like hombow Mee Sum is the spot to go. Tons of cute shops and plenty to explore.

Parks & Nature
Not too far away from my apartment is this gigantic park, all kinds of things to explore and you can make it a six hour hike if you want to. The ballard locks aren't far away from the NW end of the park. If the weather is nice, check it out.

Huge arcade that you can inside of. Right next to two movie theaters downtown so I like to go here for a beer and a game or two and then see a movie.
