Playa Bastian beach is down the road from our properties, barely 400m or a 5’ walk. From there you can also enjoy a nice walk on the coast by using Avenida Los Cocederos, which is a pedestrian avenue. Along this avenue you will find nice restaurants, diving centers and a few shops.

Car Rental or Taxis
Car hire
There are many car hire providers on the island and you can usually walk into any of the offices to hire a car. You will need to present your UK card driving license and your passport.
Taxis
There is a taxi rank located in front of Solbank opposite the reception for the Playa Bastian complex. Prices are very reasonable however if you are going further afield it is usually best to agree the price before you get in the taxi. There is a board at the rank outlining the charges.

As a tourist resort most local shops open from early morning around 8am until around 10pm at night. When paying for purchases with your debit/credit card you may be asked to provide photographic proof of your identity such as your UK card driving license or your passport.
