Safari day
Whole day trip to Fathala Safari Park in Senegal is a real adventure. You must leave very early, go to Banjul, take a ferry to Barra and have a car from Barra to Fathala. We organise the trip with our guide taking you from Coco Oasis to Fathala and back, including everything, also the game ride and a lunch in Fathala. Price 150 e per person (min 2 person). If you also want to have a lion walk, that is +25 e per person and when lion cubes encounter is available +50 e per person.

Lovely beach restaurant. Very good place lunch and a wonderful dinner, also Sunday brunch worth of trying. Usually also dj or live band from Wednesday/Thursday to Sunday.

Places to visit
Nice place to have a half day trip: a boat ride on the River Gambia and a lunch at the restaurant there. I would recommend taking a boat from the place on the right side from the parking lot and having a lunch on the other (left) side on the ’tree house. You might get some company (monkeys…). Bargain about the boat ride prices! Lamin is about 45 min from Coco Oasis. You can visit Abuko park on the way back. Lamin is best to visit in the morning (leaving from the lodge at 10 am).

Wonderful walk in the forest to meet friendly monkeys. Please bring them something to eat they are hungry! (You can buy peanuts from the ticket office to feed the monkeys). Bijilo is about 30 minutes ride from the lodge. Best time to visit is morning.
