Delicious food in large proportions. I recommend the blueberry cakes with ham but you really can't go wrong. They offer take out cinnamon rolls, pastries and coffee, too. Attached is a lovely shabby chic store, as well. Plus you're downtown and can take a stroll along the river to work off that cinnamon roll

The ferry-less island. Wonderful art scene. Check out Matzke sculpture garden and freedom park. Lovely beaches with excellent sunsets and great for beach combing - Englishboom or Iverson beach

Sightseeing
2 ish mile walk from the house. Has a decent dog park with very friendly dogs and company. Connects to the kulshan trail that can be followed all the way to the riverfront. Views of Baker if you're lucky. Small playground but lots of baseball and soccer fields to throw the ball for your dogs, too.

Migratory Birds
Come see the thousands upon thousands of snow geese and trumpeter swans create a white blanket in the empty muddy fields. Keep your eyes peeled for the snowy owl, even! A birders paradise and a photographers delight!
