The grand palace
the Grand Palace is a complex of buildings at the heart of Bangkok, Thailand. The temple features a unique layout, with its wiharn and ubosot joined by a circular courtyard, at the center of which stands a gilded chedi. The golden chedi (43m high) is covered with orange-coloured tiles and on top of the chedi, there is a golden ball. There is a relic of Buddha inside and the chedi was built in Sri Lankan style. The ordination hall has 10 door panels and 28 window panels each decorated with gilded black lacquer on the inside.

Walking around the old town, visiting lot and lot of the most famous temples and getting food from local shops that all make you spend a great day in the old town. Tuk Tuk Taxi is another option for traveling but PLEASE ask the price and do a bargain with the driver before get in :D

"TUK TUK", "GRAB TAXI" and "CABB TAXI" are available.
Tuk Tuk, a 3 wheels taxi is one of the old-style of traveling in Bangkok but please ask and bargain the price before get in. GRAB and CABB both are the application for calling your Taxi. This would be convenience if you like to go around outside the old town :D PLEASE ALWAYS ASK the driver to use a "meter" for calculate a taxi-fare. (Taxi fare starts with 35 THB but If you use an Taxi-application such as Grab. Starting price will be at 40 THB with 20THB service fee.)

Way to save your money for your trip
Street food in Bangkok is cheap but rich of taste :-) .. approxiamately price is 1-2 usd for a meal. 2 spots we recommended for a great street food. One is in the old town Bangkok(near our home) and another is China town, just one stop by MRT. If you like to getting around the old town. You can be around by walking or MRT service. TukTuk is much more expensive if you are a foreigner. Negotiations the price is a must for TukTuk.
