If you wish to be a real Florentine, you cannot avoid trying Lampredotto - a special kind of meat in bread you should eat standing, on the street. This is available in Florence and nowhere else. The best in town is not in the center, but this is a good compromise

Historical refreshment point for students, passers-by, local workers and even tourists. A rich menu: lampredotto in inzimino on Tuesday, with small beans on Wednesday, with artichokes on Friday and with potatoes on Saturday. A must for the city center.

It's a kiosk and they sell only lampredotto and tripe. It's the top of the streetfood. If you visit Florence, you have to try this traditional florentine food.

The local Lampredotto maker. You don't know what Lampredotto is? It is a local food, that can only be found in Florence. This food truck is one of the best in town!
