Quandary Peak is a "Fourteener" mountain and a must-do hike for anybody in the area looking for a challenging yet fulfilling hike. This hike features a beautiful reservoir, challenging boulder fields, abundant wildflowers, and some steep grades. We recommend that you start in the morning to make the most of it.

A popular pastime amongst Coloradans is bagging 14ers - summiting the state's peaks reaching over 14,000 feet above sea level! Quandary is easy to access and the Eastern approach is as easy as they come (which is still pretty tough!)

THIS IS A 14ER (mountain 14,000ft or higher in altitude). It's the closest 14er to Silverthorne. All 14ers are intense hikes and you need to be prepared when hiking a 14er. Please look up more info on 14ers.com, but I just wanted to at least share one of them for those more extreme hikers who might be interested in hiking one.
