This public beach with (limited) parking has everything one could want. Beautiful wide sandy beach, lifeguards if you want to go in the water, picnic tables, grills, bike racks, restroom, showers, etc.

Great for having breakfast, lunch, and sunset on the water, with all you can eat pancakes, eggs benedict,...There's a tiki bar in case it's 5 o'clock somewhere! Fast service, and plenty of seating

Located toward the center of the island, Manatee Public Beach in Holmes Beach is known for being one of the most popular beaches on the island for families with children. There are three access points to the beach which makes it easy to get to and enjoy. One of the best things about the Manatee Public Beach is all of the amenities that are included nearby. Of course, you’ll find the white sandy beach and the beautiful blue clear waters. Here, you’ll also find benches, bike racks, grills, and picnic tables. This makes it the perfect spot to spend the entire day and even bring some lunch along with you. If you don’t want to bring a picnic, that’s fine too, because there’s also a concession stand that can provide a snack or a cool drink. Anna Maria Island Beach Café is also one of the area’s most popular restaurants, and it is located right on the beach for hungry families and travelers. Concessions and facilities here are among the best that you will find on the island. Other restaurants such as Skinny’s Place with its delectable burgers and hot dogs are within walking distance. If the beach gets tiring you can also check out some of the volleyball courts or the playgrounds here as well. There are changing cabanas and also full restrooms and showers with a foot wash. Dogs are not allowed at any of the public beaches in Manatee County.
