Located right outside of the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) you will find this stunning, solar-powered installation created in 2008 using 202 restored, cast-iron street lamps. It has set the scene for many films and will make for a gorgeous backdrop for your next photo-op.
Huge boulder suspended above a walkway. On the grounds of LACMA museum and the La Brea Tar Pits.
This museum has a must see outdoor light installation thats a must see (especially for that perfect instagram moment). The lights are best seen (and most picture perfect) at night but if you’re also into museums, this is a great museum to check out. We recommend getting to the museum before sunset to make sure it’s open and then staying until after sunset to take pictures with the lights!

Urban Light is a large-scale assemblage sculpture by Chris Burden located at the Wilshire Boulevard entrance to the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. The 2008 installation consists of restored street lamps from the 1920s and 1930s. Most of them once lit the streets of Southern California.
