Matlacha (pronounced Matt-la-shay) is an eclectic area a short drive away at the entrance of Pine Island that has great food places on the water and fun little shops and boutiques. You must try Blue Dog Grill and Yucatáns while you’re there!

This little town is one of the most colorful towns in SWFL. Matlacha is full of fishing spots. Surrounded by water, it truly is a breath taking little town. It has little unique art shops and little seafood mom and pops type restaurant. This is one of our favorite spots to visit that never get old. There's even a park located at the heart of it where you can take a boat out or launch a kayak for the day. It most certainly is a sight to see.

Super cute shopping area on a nearby island. Just beyond our fav restaurant of Micelis. There ae lots of other waterfront restaurants nearby too.
