Great hike right out the back door. Two ways to access, the way we prefer, a little harder but turns it into a loop, walk to Buffer Creek's North trailhead and walk all the way back to the Potato Patch trailhead 1/4 mile from our door.

The North Trail extends from West Vail all the way over to East Vail - go straight out the door and take the free bus back!
