It's a nice beach, too crowded in the summer but nice in the winter time. There are water sports, 3km long white sand and a wonderful view to the Halong bay. It's around 1km away from my building, you can go by foot. Bad things are poor food & drink kiosk, good things are you can just do (almost) whatever you want, including loud music on the beach :)
