Located north of the bay of banderas this bohemian/surfer town offers a great escape for the day. Public transit is available the bus stands in from of Walmart at the marina. You can easily transfer from Puerto Vallarta local public buses at the Walmart stop going to and coming back from Sayulita.

If you want to go a little further, Sayulita is about an hour's drive from PV. Our transportation partner can get you there at an affordable price. This is a super crowded, yet really cool surf town with tons of boho boutiques, restaurants, flea markets, and beaches! This little town is just charming.

Cute little surfer town about an hour north of Puerto Vallarta. Great for a day trip. Check the rate for a car to take you over there and back. Uber and taxi are also possible and not too pricy, but may be hard to get one back to PV. Ideally check out San Francisco which is 10 minutes past Sayulita, during your visit. It’s a cute town too.

Sayulita is lively and fun. Here you will find young people, families and retirees. Sayulita is tucked into a small bay with mountains on both sides. Lots of restaurants and souvenirs
