An abundant local co-op grocery offering a wide variety of natural foods and standard goods as well as prepared meals including a deli, hot bar, gelato, pastries and coffee. Indoor and outdoor first come first serve seating is available.
Good place to grab hot food, snacks, groceries, supplements or maybe flirt a bit with hot employees and customers. Enjoy!
Lots of great stuff in including a buffet and second floor cafeteria. Try the vegan cumin tomato tofu scramble. Smoothie bar and outside seating.
Less than a mile to this healthy natural grocery, decent prepared foods section also.

“Near the historic Tower Theater on Broadway sits another piece of Sacramento history, the Tower Cafe. Owner James Seyman founded his worldly fusion eatery on Earth Day 1990, with the intent of bringing the hearts, minds and appetites of the city’s diverse population under one roof. Specialties from across the globe range from the award winning Famous French Toast (a custard soaked slice of Heaven) to Piag’s Thai Steak, Jamaican Jerk Chicken as well as a selection of seasonal daily specials. Tower Cafe offers a gorgeous outdoor garden patio seating (indoor seating also available) and table side service. Don't forget to visit the dessert counter!”

“The Crocker Art Museum features the world’s foremost display of California art and is renowned for its holdings of European master drawings and international ceramics. The Crocker serves as the primary regional resource for the study and appreciation of fine art and offers a diverse spectrum of exhibitions, events, and programs to augment its collections, including films, concerts, studio classes, lectures, children’s activities, and more. The Museum has also dedicated the historic building’s entire first floor as an education center, which includes four classrooms, space for student and community exhibitions, the Gerald Hansen Library, and Tot Land. It is the only museum in the Sacramento region accredited by the American Alliance of Museums (AAM), a recognition given to fewer than 1,100 of the nation's 33,000 museums. AAM accreditation certifies that a museum operates according to standards set forth by the museum profession, manages its collections responsibly, and provides quality service to the public.”
