The Tower, Thornton Castle

Traditional & relaxed accommodation in the 16th century Scottish tower of our family home. Accessed by a spiral staircase your space comprises 2 bedrooms for 4 people over two floors in a private wing of the castle with bathroom and small sitting room. Full breakfast included. Set in the foothills of the Cairngorm National Park, this is an ideal stop off between Inverness and Edinburgh. Balmoral Castle, Dunnottar Castle, Glamis Castle and St Andrews are nearby. Tennis court available.

Seafront Cottage - The Anchorage Carnoustie

Fully equipped seafront cottage. Central heating, fridge, cooker, nespresso coffee machine, dining area, outside sitting area. Close to Carnoustie golf course and other local courses, including St Andrews. 10 mins walk to train station (servicing Glasgow, Edinburgh, etc), supermarket, laundry facility, shops, restaurants and bars. On cycle/walking route. Close to Arbroath and Dundee. Dogs welcome for a fee of £30 per pet. *Please note: there is no washing machine or freezer in the cottage.

The Seaside/Harbour town of Arbroath is a 5 min drive away, with lots of lovely Cafes, Restaurants, Cinema and Theatre. Golfing, Fishing , Kayaking round the Cliffs and Walking, are plentiful in and around the area with Carnoustie Golf Links a 15 minute drive. Bus and Train Station in town for those who want to venture further.

Perfect for walking and cycling in a beautiful part of Angus with Arbroath around 3 miles away and Montrose around 7 miles. Located just off the Arbroath to Montrose Cycle route.
