Yurt is located near the main house, yet a privacy courtyard had been created for additional solitude. Hot showers and flushing toilets are in a separate, unheated building about a 3 minute walk away. Glamping at its finest!

Tiny House Farm Stay

Cozy, rustic, well-outfitted 2-story tiny home on a 3-acre family farm with a blacksmith shop. The fenced property is surrounded by trees and includes open fields with a vineyard, orchard, outbuildings, and gardens. It is four blocks from the main street in Falls City, and a river and waterfall are within walking distance. The hosts and their two children live 150’ from the tiny house. Guests who book our “Forge a Knife” Experience (Vonhelmick Knife Co) receive a 15% discount on their stay.

Spacious Farm Garden Loft with View

This spacious 1000 Sq ft guest suite with private bath has flexible furnishings that can be set up to create a cozy movie/popcorn night or open up for morning yoga. Hiking trails leave from your door into an expansive park. We are an urban farm garden and have chickens and goats. Visit on Tuesday evenings (May - Oct) to enjoy a local farmers market on the property. Absolutely no smoking of any kind. We respect diversity and inclusion. Views of Mary’s Peak and coastal mountains, just 10 minutes from Oregon State University & Corvallis, 50 minutes from historic Newport coastal town, and near many local wineries. The Suite offers 2 bedrooms with 2 KING beds! 2 couches, pullout chaise that sleeps a single. 1500 sq ft. Beautiful, peaceful grounds, Trampoline, Large patio, Pickleball court washer/dryer Shuffle Board POOL TABLE! Room to sleep 7

Parks and (Oregon) Gardens and Horses - Oh My!

Enjoy a well appointed private guest suite on an operating Thoroughbred horse ranch bordering on the Cascade foothills close to both Silver Falls State Park and the Oregon Gardens. The tranquil setting affords plenty of opportunity to savor the views from your private deck. And while unsupervised schmoozing with the horses isn't allowed, if you'd like we'll be glad to introduce you to some of the herd. You can rub elbows with equine royalty - the offspring of two Kentucky Derby winners!

We are located 2 miles from the entrance to the Mary's Peak recreation area, the highest spot in the coast range. During winter, there is usually access to snow, only a 15 minute drive from our cabin to the top of Mary's Peak. Alsea Falls is a 25 minute drive. The coastal town of Waldport is a 45 minute drive, Oregon State University is a 20 minute drive away, and University of Oregon is 1 hour south of us. Cabin is on our private property where we live as well.

It is is fully furnished with a queen sized bed, nightstands, futon, electric fireplace & breakfast nook with bar refrigerator, microwave and Keurig. Plates, cups, silverware, coffee pods, bedding and towels are provided! Hot showers and toilets are located in a separate, unheated building about a 1 minute walk away. Glamping at its finest!
