At elevation 9,300, enjoy a wide, jaw-dropping view of the Sangre de Cristo mountains. The wind sings through the pines and wildlife abounds. No mosquitos, just hummingbirds! We provide lots of info about fun places within striking distance. In the fully outfitted cabin are Old West music and radio show albums, and games, puzzles, and books - many of those with a Western theme like much of decor. Glamping on the Arkansas -Trout

Get back to nature comfortably! This Glamping Tent, located in the Sweetwater River Resort is a nature-lover’s, outdoor enthusiast’s, fly-fishing-fanatic’s dream nestled on the banks of the beautiful juniper-lined Arkansas River. The property has over a mile of river access, 0.6 of a mile on both sides with easy access to the river on trails that parallel the river. To access the opposite side of the river from the campground, an elevated swinging bridge is suspended across the river.

Close to the Royal Gorge (35 mins), fishing/white water rafting on the Arkansas River ( 15 mins), skiing at Monarch (1+hr), and public lands for exploring, hiking, and hunting where you can enjoy Colorado outdoor living and adventures at its finest. This unique 550 sq ft cabin originally started in the early 1990's and completely restored in 2022. Our vision was to create an off-grid, experience that's warm, cozy, environmentally-friendly, yet fully functional.

The cabin includes a mini fridge and microwave for light meal prep, with nearby access to recently upgraded and renovated shared bathrooms and showers. Sleeping arrangements are simple yet cozy, with a plush queen bed and a bunk bed.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Located in the serene Sugarbush Campground in Howard, CO you have access to all the conveniences of home while still be able to enjoy some peace & quiet. The bathhouse is conveniently located nearby. The picnic table and outdoor seating gives you a place to sit and enjoy the sounds of nature. The location also has a fully stocked liquor store and the Snack Shack food trailer serving lunch and dinner.
