Welcome to our Midcentury modern pied-à-terre near Multnomah Village within a peaceful and quiet neighborhood! It is very centrally located, with easy access to trails, and within a short easy drive to downtown Portland. It is also strategically located with easy access to the Willamette Valley (1hr), or to the Gorge for hiking (1hr). It is halfway between the Oregon coast and Mount Hood (about 1.5hr each way). In other words, it is perfectly located to explore Portland and Northern Oregon!

For whatever brings you to Oregon, stay at Mama J’s comfortable, peaceful, safe and convenient spot. Portland is just ten miles away, the closest beaches, Columbia River Gorge and Mt. Hood are all about an hour, and there are numerous hikes from the forest right down the street to Silver Falls and beyond. Explore North Portland walking districts (restaurants, food carts, shops!) or the roses at Peninsula Park🌹, then retire to this hip and spacious basement apartment. You’ll love its cork floors (that feel so nice under foot), creative finishes, and immaculate cleanliness. I live upstairs but am mindful of noise. And, as a basement space, it keeps a comfortable temperature and is buffered from exterior noise! I’ve had multiple guests tell me they had the best sleep ever.
