Damson Cottage is in Rural North Cornwall with many seaside villages nearby, & within minutes cycle to the Camel Trail and Grogley where there is great cycling and walking! It boasts a fab boot room- perfect for wet gear or dogs- with underfloor heating and slate floor! There is even a warm water tap outside for mucky pooches! This barn conversion, built in the 1800s, is less than a 10 minute drive to Wadebridge. A beautifully appointed cottage set within a small courtyard, with a cosy log fire!

Nestled in your private back courtyard, this is bound to add a touch of something special to your stay! The cottage has a large bathroom with fluffy white towels and dressing gowns provided, and a cosy single bedroom just perfect for a child, teenager or Grandma! Set in a delightfully quiet location, this property has been stylishly furnished and makes a super retreat for people looking for a rural, quiet spot to relax after exploring the many great places Cornwall has to offer. You can step straight out of the back door and enjoy plenty of footpaths from the door of the cottage. Damson is situated on the edge of our dairy farm, in beautiful countryside. We are big on nature here- and there’s plenty of it to be spotted from the doorstep! You can walk to the river banks within 30 seconds, why not use the blankets provided and pack up a picnic for the afternoon? The furnishings are all to a high standard, as are the fixtures and fittings! The property benefits from super fast broadband, perfect for an evening in front of the fire streaming movies! Outside, the secluded private courtyard leading off from the large utility/boot room at the back of the property is perfect for al fresco dining or enjoying the peace and quiet of the country. You could even light the chimnea and stargaze!!

Living Area: with wood burner, 50” free view TV, DVD placer, CD player, IPod dock, French doors leading to garden

Kitchen Area: with electric oven, electric hob, microwave, fridge, freezer and dishwasher
Utility/boot room: with under floor heating, slate flooring, washing machine, tumble dryer and storage for boots and coats
Bathroom: with roll top bath, shower cubicle, toilet and bidet
Electric central heating (night storage heaters in bedroom), electricity, bed linen, towels and super fast wi-fi included. Travel cot and high hair. Small lawned garden to front. Private courtyard at the back of the property, garden furniture and BBQ. Private parking for two cars. No smoking. Please note: the property has a natural water supply from a bore hole- this is the owners own private fresh spring water supply from their farm, and it is all treated and filtered and perfect for drinking and bathing.

Country pursuits such as duck flighting, deer stalking and salmon fishing are available, and taster sessions can be booked directly with the owner.

We are located just ten minutes off the A30. A short way to the north-west Padstow is home to an array of shops, pubs, restaurants and a popular cycle trail, the camel trail which you can also access from within a 10 minute cycle of the property. Fans of Doc Martin will be drawn to nearby Port Isaac where the TV series is filmed and award winning restaurants are a plenty. The villages of Rock and Polzeath are also close to hand and well worth a visit, and further down the coast is Newquay, with its fantastic beaches and surfing opportunities. An afternoon spent exploring Cardinham Woods is a must for cyclists, Bodmin Moor offers some fantastic walking terrain, and the National Trust property Lanhydrock House is just a short drive away. Beach 8 miles. Shop, pub, restaurant 3 miles.
