On entering the gates, a stone-marked track to the left leads past a shrine to a sit-out sheltered by plants. A designated parking spot is conveniently located a little ahead of the entrance, to the right. Leading to the villa is a tiled cream-toned path, gently snaking its way through a blanket of grass and trees. On reaching the villa and ascending the steps, the portico’s spaciousness is an opportune setting for reading outdoors or taking a catnap on languid afternoons.
